James Lewis, road and bridge supervisor, reported that they are installing a culvert in Union Township this week.
Bills were audited and paid.
Ted Miller, Marion Township landowner, met with the Commission requesting to record the meeting. Mr. Miller discussed with the commission the brush laws and the methods for vacation of a public road. He was given a petition, and instructions for filing, to vacate a portion of the road in question.
The commission reviewed and updated the road and bridge inventory.
Scott Krieger, Mapping Solutions, formerly Marceline Mapping, met with the commission regarding the production of a new plat book. He will submit a proposal.
Danny Heldenbrand reported that the Colfax Township landowner contacted two weeks ago has agreed to remove the gates from a roadway.
Gene Walker, City of Pattonsburg, met with the commission regarding security practices at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail. He will attend the jail board meeting on Friday.
David Cox reported that the FEMA representative will meet with him and James Lewis to inspect damaged sites on Oct. 26.
In the afternoon the commission inspected sites in Benton, Marion, Grand River, Liberty, and Jamesport Townships.
A service agreement with Mapping Solutions, Marceline Mapping, was executed for the production and purchase of new plat books.

Circuit Court
A dissolution of marriage was granted Oct. 20 to Tommy Ray Hogan from Amy Kristine Hogan.
A jury trial was set for Dec. 14 for Jana R. Bell, charged with felony arson and burglary.
Cases bound over from the Associate Division to the Circuit Court: State vs. Jonas P. Kurtz, Jamesport, felony resisting arrest, felony no valid license, misdemeanor speeding; State vs. James M. Barrett, Gladstone, felony receiving stolen property; State vs. Krystal Leann Mann, Galt, felony receiving stolen property; State vs. Telesfor H. Zamora, Loveland, Colo., felony non-support.
State vs. Telesfor H. Zamora was bound over and heard on the same day. Zamora waived the sentence assessment report and plead guilty to felony non-support. He received a suspended execution of sentence and was placed on five years probation.
Probation for Rex E. Hagan was revoked on Oct. 25 for felony non-support. His previously imposed sentence of four years in the Department of Corrections was ordered executed.
Civil cases filed: James B. Jordan vs. Director of Revenue, petition for trial de novo.
Associate Division
Wanda Petrie, Cowgill, was charged Oct. 19 with one felony count and one misdemeanor count of passing bad checks.
Sheriff’s Office
James Cisco, 49, Kansas City, was charged Oct. 24 with failure to appear on an original misdemeanor charge of failure to stop person less than 21 from possessing alcohol. He is being held on $464.50 bond.
Edgar Vargas, 23, Olathe, Kan., was arrested Oct. 20 for misdeameanor no valid license. He posted $500 bond.
Edward Russell, 40, Maysville, was charged Oct. 20 with felony non-support. He posted $5,000 bond.
