The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports that a man was inside the vehicle that was found on fire in Pattonsburg the morning of Sept. 30. The death has been ruled an apparent suicide. The sheriff’s office stated that at about 6:09 a.m. they were dispatched to 100 North 2nd Avenue in Pattonsburg regarding a car fire. The fire was extinguished by the Pattonsburg Fire Department.
