The funeral service for Rachel Moulin was held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the Mt. Pleasant #1 Baptist Church (Cat Creek) northeast of Gilman City. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant #1 Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, and/or Mt. Rachel Lorene (King) Moulin, 93, Trenton, formerly of Gilman City, died Sept. 24, 2010, at Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton.
She was born in Harrison County on Sept. 15, 1917, to John Alfredy and Alice May (Hudson) King. On July 23, 1935, she was united in marriage to John Franklin "Frank" Moulin. To this union, two children were born.
Survivors include one son, Garvin C. Moulin, Gilman City; one daughter, Erma M. Miller, Lee’s Summit; two brothers, George Edward King, Sturgeon, and Hubert Marion King, Ridgeway; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
