Funeral services for Norma McWilliams were held Monday, Sept. 20, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to Many Waters Ministry.
Norma Jean McWilliams, 78, Gilman City, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.
She was born March 13, 1932, in Stewartsville, the daughter of Carl L. and Evelyn (Pickett) Hamann, who preceded her in death. She had lived in Gilman City for over 10 years.
Norma married Forrest on Jan. 19, 1951. He survives of the home.
She was a real estate loan officer for a bank. Norma and Forrest were employed by Holiday Retirement Corp. as managers at the time of her death.
Norma attended Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, for many years, where she was choir librarian.
Other survivors include one son, Scott McWilliams, Gladstone; one daughter, Tricia Reynolds, Gilman City; one brother, Carl Hamann; six grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
