Sometimes the little things go unnoticed.

Last Monday night the JV football team hosted Princeton. While the JV was on the field, the Gallatin Youth League was practicing on the practice field.

During the game a player from Princeton was injured on the field. Initially the injuries appeared to be severe and the ambulance was called.

While the whole crowd sat in silence and wonder, I looked over to the practice field. There were all the youth players "taking a knee." Tears filled my eyes at the sight. It made me so proud to be from Gallatin. What a wonderful thing that these young people are learning. They are not only learning skills and plays, but they are learning honor, respect and courtesy. Keep up the great work coaches and players. You make Gallatin proud!
