The bike rodeo will take place on the north end of Market Street by T&D Automotive and Farmers Bank. This program will help children learn the rules of the road for safe bicycle riding. Children up to 12 years are invited to bring their bicycle or tricycle and try the several stations set up for the bikers to navigate and work on their riding skills as well as having their bicycle inspected to insure that they are safe to ride. Children can enter for prizes that will be given away including several bicycles.

Additionally for Boy Scouts this program will cover several of the requirements needed for the cycling merit badge, and for Cub Scouts this program will cover all that is needed to complete the belt loop for bicycling and cover several of the requirements needed for the bicycling pin.

Troop or Den Scout leaders can contact Chief Richards at 660-663-9512 with any questions or to receive certificates for their scouts.
