Duane and Ruth Frost of Gallatin attended three of their grandsons graduations in May, 2010.
First was Matthew Ryan Krummel, son of Debbie and John Krummel of Clarinda, Iowa. Matthew graduated from the Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, on May 8 with a major in industrial technology. He took a position as an engineer at TriMark Corporation in New Hampton, Iowa.
Second was Tyson Mark Frost, son of Dr. Mark and Jenny Frost of Parkville. Tyson graduated with honors and a grade point average of 3.78 from the University of Missouri in Columbia on May 15 with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. Tyson is working at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Smithville while waiting to get accepted into a medical college.
Third was Spencer Ryan Frost, son of Dr. Greg Frost of Vandalia. Spencer graduated high school from the Platte County School District in Platte City on May 22. He has joined the Air Force and will study image analysis. He will start basic training on Jan. 11, 2011, at San Antonio, Texas.
Matthew, Tyson and Spencer are the great-grandsons of Irene Frost of Gallatin.
