Mass of Christian Burial for Colby Youngs was held Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home. Cremation was to follow the service and inurnment at a later date. Military Honors were provided by the United States Marine Corp. Memorial fund: American Diabetes Association.

Lance Corporal Colby Dane Youngs, 22, Cameron, died on Aug. 25, 2010, at his home.
Colby was born on Aug. 14, 1988, in St. Joseph to Danny J. and Billie A (Tofflemire) Youngs.
He was a 2007 graduate of J.C. Penney High School, Hamilton.
Colby was active in the United States Marine Corp Reserves, where he served in Peru. He was going back to active duty in January to serve in Afghanistan.
He was a member of St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron.
Colby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Aleada Tofflemire
Survivors include his parents, Danny and Billie Youngs of the home; two sisters, Bridget Youngs, Kansas City, and Dana Briseno, Parkville; maternal grandparents, Richard and Shirley Youngs, Cameron; uncle, Danny Tofflemire, Topeka, Kan.; five aunts: Sharon Youngs, Cameron; Rita Caldwell, Winston, Eileen Duty, St. Joseph, Sister Rita Marie Tofflemire, Norfolk, Neb., Elizabeth Leach, Cameron; and many cousins and friends.
