Savanna Cox to reign as Simmental Queen

2010 Jamesport graduate involved in presentations throughout the year
Savannah Cox of Jamesport was recently selected as the Missouri State Simmental Queen for the Missouri Simmental Association during the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. Savannah will be involved in award presentations throughout the next year at the American Royal, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Show, and at the National Junior Simmental Association Show to be held in Sedalia in July 2011. During the State Fair, Savannah was also elected to serve a two year term on the Missouri Junior Simmental Association Board of Directors. In addition, she showed the FFA Foundation Champion Bred and Owned Heifer at the Missouri State Fair. Savannah is a 2010 graduate of Tri-County High School in Jamesport, and the daughter of David and Toni Cox. She will be attending Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville this fall.
