Louise R. Bayne, 91, Coffey, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 in St. Joseph, Mo.

She was born May 30, 1919 in McFall, Mo., the daughter of Russell and Alta (Rice) Heath.

On June 19, 1939, she married Lowell Bayne in Bethany, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Louise was a housewife and had worked for a short time at the Pattonsburg Cap Factory. She did lots of crocheting. Louise made a panda bear for Jessica and then made and shipped them to several distant states. She liked to quilt, work in the garden and can her vegetables. Her favorite thing to do was to sit outside and read Nancy Drew books to Jessica.

Survivors include a daughter, Julia A. Bayne, Coffey, Mo. and son, Charles "Butch" (Lyn) Bayne, Pattonsburg, Mo.; granddaughter, Jessica (David) Barnett, Gallatin, Mo.; nephew, Micheal (Virginia) Bayne, Chicago, Ill. and several cousins.

Graveside services and burial was at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Coffey Cemetery, Coffey, Mo.. The family received friends on Saturday from 1-2 pm at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, Mo.
