Fredrick "Freddie" L. Ballard, age 83, passed away at the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Mo., Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1927, the son of Fred and Rosa (Frazier) Ballard in Gallatin. On June 12, 1995, he married Delpha Mae Williams.

He was a manager for Thunderbird Trailer Park in Pomona, Calif., for over 30 years, after that he was a manager of a trailer park in Albuquerque, N.M. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bobby, J.T. and Wesley Ballard and one sister Mary Margaret Walsh.

Freddie is survived by his wife, Delpha of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Diana Ballard and Joyce Page, both of Jamesport, Betty Maupins, Trenton; one brother, Bill Ballard of Loma Linda, Calif; 11 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
