North Central Missouri College Head Lady Pirates Basketball Coach Jenny Croy has announced the signing of student/athlete Courtney Ray from Gallatin.

"Courtney played last season at Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa, where she was the starting point guard until she suffered a season-ending knee injury," said Coach Croy. "She was an outstanding player at Gallatin High School and I know she is going to step up big time for us this season," she added. "She’s a leader on the court as well as an outstanding student in the classroom and will be a great addition to our program here at NCMC."
Ray, a 2009 GHS graduate, was a three-time all-Grand River Conference and all-district honoree. She is the all-time GHS steals leader and number six all-time scorer.
