Gallatin hosted Trenton and Milan on Monday and Tuesday and fell by nearly identical scores of 10-0 and 11-0, respectively.

Freshman Kaitlyn McNeely and sophomore Kylie Cameron recorded hits for the Lady Bulldogs against Trenton.

Positives from the Milan game included the fact that Lady Bulldog batters went the entire six innings without a strikeout while drawing four walks. The GHS girls also flashed solid glove work. Kaitlyn McNeely recorded four putouts in center field. Freshman Kirbie Crouse, a mid-game replacement at shortstop, handled all three chances at ground balls.

McNeely, Ashley Burns and Megan Beck all singled for Gallatin. Tory Wood drew a pair of walks and made a good catch of a sinking liner in right field.

Following Saturday’s tournament, the Lady Bulldogs travel to Maysville on Tuesday to open Grand River Conference play.
