Sherry Siever
Sherry Siever will teach art part time at North Daviess. She was born in Williamsburg, Va., and raised in Illinois and Missouri. She went to high school at Tri-County in Jamesport. She received her MA in art and art therapy from Truman State University at Kirksville and Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. She has taught at Pattonsburg for six years. She and her husband George have two children, Brooke, 21, and Michael, 12, and one grandchild, Aiden, six months.
Hilary Marshall
Hilary Marshall will teach fifth and sixth grade at North Daviess. Hilary was born and raised in Bethany. She went to high school at South Harrison and received her degree in education from Graceland University. She previously taught kindergarten for one year, Title I kindergarten for one year and fifth grade for three years. She and her husband Scott have a one-year-old child, Thales.
Daniel Weese
Daniel Weese will be teaching math, computer literacy and applications for 7-12 grades at North Daviess. Weese was born in Albany and raised in Maryville where he graduated from high school. He received his bachelor’s degree in math education and his master’s degree in instructional technology from Northwest Missouri State University. He previously taught for two years at North Daviess and two years at West Nodaway and one year at Rock Port.
His wife Amy is a manager of bakers at Northwest. Their children are Devin Weese, a senior at Maryville; Dakota Weese, a sophomore at West Nodaway; stepdaughter Amanda Brown is an eighth grader at West Nodaway; Jennapher Weese, is a second grader at West Nodaway, and Michael Weese is in preschool at West Nodaway.
New custodian, bus driver
Henry Rhoades is the new high school custodian and bus driver and James Cook is the new elementary custodian at North Daviess.
