Franchise targeted to be open by mid-September
Kathy Kagay will be opening a Subway franchise at 107 North Main in Gallatin by Mid September if all goes as planned.

Kagay currently owns a Subway in Maysville, which has been open for three years. She retired in May from the Maysville school district where she taught Family and Consumer Sciences.
Kagay said she hopes to have the new Subway open in time for Chautauqua. She has purchased the building and the franchise paperwork is complete. She will soon begin renovating the inside and ordering equipment.
She plans to hire help from Gallatin and put them in charge while she serves in a managerial position, though she will be down often.
Her husband Barry has a farming operation around Maysville. They have two sons, both students at the University of Missouri at Columbia. Britt is a freshman and Bryant is working on his MBA.
