Three people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident that happened at about 4:20 p.m. on July 25 in Harrison County.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as Cynthia Hulet, 55, Pattonsburg, who was westbound, was stopped to make a left turn onto Hwy. 69 off of Hwy. 136 two miles west of Bethany. A vehicle driven by Dorothy Buntin, 78, Stanberry, struck the rear of her vehicle.

Hulet and her granddaughter Taylor Hulet-Teel, 15, of Cameron, and Buntin were taken by NTA Ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital. All three were wearing their seat belts. Hulet’s 2005 Mercury and Buntin’s 1994 Chevrolet were totaled.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. B. Israel, assisted by Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, Bethany Police Department, Bethany Fire Department and NTA Ambulance.

A Kidder woman received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened at about 5:10 p.m. on July 24 in Livingston County.

Erica Lee, 27, Kidder, was westbound on Hwy. 36 four miles west of Chillicothe. Her 2006 Chevrolet began hydroplaning. Lee lost control of the vehicle and it overturned two times, coming to rest on its passenger side. She was wearing her seatbelt. Lee sought medical attention on her own. The vehicle was totaled.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.C. Daly, assisted by Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Chillicothe EMS.
