Kristy Farrington and Aaron Steigerwalt were married in a private ceremony at the Woods Chapel Methodist Church Chapel, Lee’s Summit, on Saturday, March 20, 2010. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Don E. Canfield.
Susan Heimsoth, friend of the bride, and Eric Steigerwalt, brother of the groom, witnessed the event. Reagan Sheedy, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
A reception dinner at Café Verona, Independence, followed the ceremony and was attended by the wedding party.
Kristy is the daughter of Bob and Shari Farrington of Cole Camp, and Aaron is the son of Dennis and Sharon Steigerwalt, Gallatin.
Kristy graduated in 1994 from Cole Camp High School. She received her doctorate in pharmacy in 2000 and her master of library science in 2010 from University of Missouri, Kansas City. She works at Walgreens in Kansas City as a pharmacist.
Aaron graduated in 1992 from Gallatin High School, Gallatin. He received his bachelor of science degree in geological engineering from University of Missouri, Rolla, in 1998 and his professional engineering license from the state of Kansas in 2005. He currently works for URS Corp., Overland Park, Kan., as an environmental engineer.
The couple honeymooned in Ireland and Italy and are at home in Raymore [Submitted Photo].
