Pastor Robert Nelson of Lake Viking church will host the local "Praise The Lord" program on Friday, July 23, on channel KTAJ of the TBN network.

Pastor Nelson will be interviewing former Lake Viking resident Kathy Coleman Corbett as well as Gracia Burnham and Wanda White. The interviews will be in reference to an upcoming "From Captivity to Freedom" conference at Lee’s Summit, which will be hosted by Kathy through her "Moving On Ministry." Kathy has held numerous conferences and programs in the Kansas City area and several at Lake Viking.
Many readers will be familiar with Gracia Burnham’s story. She and her husband Tom, who were missionary workers (originally from Kansas), were taken hostage in the Phillipines by a group of violent Muslim militants and held captive for 376 days. Tom Burnham was killed by gunfire during the successful rescue attempt in 2002. Since then, Gracia has been a much sought-after motivational speaker, and she has written two books.
The final speaker, Wanda White, gives testimony about her daughter who is unable to walk or talk because of cerebral palsy. Wanda, like Gracia, speaks on finding triumph thru adversity. Other featured guests, from the Lake Viking congregation, on this telecast will be Ben Becerra, Tessa Lollar, and Mike Rumsower.
KTAJ is the local Kansas City/St Joseph affiliate of the TBN national network. It is a free over the air station which is channel 16 with regular TV antenna reception.
