In his new role, Houghton is responsible for all aspects of patient care and the oversight and supervision of nursing personnel throughout the facility.

"Melvin’s leadership skills, experience and passion for nursing excellence will help us to continue to deliver the highest quality patient care," said Karen Cole, Wright Memorial Hospital chief executive officer.

Houghton lives in Trenton with his wife, Katie, and two children Chanse and Creed.
