Jameson native receives medical degree

Jeremy Wilson Hunter was one of 247 medical students who received the doctor of osteopathic medicine (D.O.) degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in commencement ceremonies on May 15 in Kansas City.

Dr. Hunter is the son of Beverly Hunter of Jameson, and Mark Hunter of Moberly. A 1996 graduate of North Daviess R-3 in Jameson, he earned a bachelor of science in biology in 2006 from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Dr. Hunter will complete postdoctoral training in emergency medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
