Michael Malone, 66, Winston, was charged June 17 with 37 counts of possession of child pornography, all class B felonies. He is being held at the regional jail on $100,000 bond.

A search warrant of Malone’s home at 26427 State Highway Y was executed on March 2, 2010, due to information that had been received by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
Two laptop computers were transported to the Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (RCFL) in Kansas City on March 3, and a separate search warrant was issued to search within the computer storage areas of the two computers.
On June 16, the two laptop computers were returned to Daviess County, along with the forensic findings of evidence by RCFL. The laboratory discovered more than 100 images depicting child pornography, depicting children from toddlers to pre-teens, all on the defendant’s laptop. Malone was arrested on June 16.
