Superintendent Becky Morris reported on storm damage to the high school that occurred earlier in the Spring during the regular meeting of the North Daviess R-3 Board of Education held June 11.

The storm caused damage to the softball field, greenhouse and the gutter on the east side of the building. There could be some more damage to some of the computer equipment.

Summer improvements in the amount of $4,183 were approved.

Janese Courter was offered the school nurse position. Daniel Weese was offered the junior high and high school math position.

The financial statement was presented and bills were approved for payment.

The budget was amended to reflect actual expenditures by a vote of 4 yes – 1 no.

The budget was approved as presented.

Bids were opened for milk, diesel fuel, pest control, fire extinguisher inspections and waste removal for the next school year.

Amy Lockridge will do the school pictures next year.

The board agreed to purchase two Promethean boards for the high school

The board carried a motion to cash the current CD 5833.

Next board meeting was set for 7 p.m. on Monday, July 19.
