Funeral service for Margreat Innis were held Tuesday, June 15, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. Interment was at McCrary Cemetery, Gallatin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCrary Cemetery.

Margreat Alice Innis, 87, Platte City, formerly of Kidder, died at her son’s home in Platte City on June 11, 2010.
Margreat was born on Sept. 3, 1922, to Charles Elwood and Juanita Irene Cox McCrary in Daviess County, near Breckenridge.
Margreat worked for 34 years at Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton. She lived in Kidder for 54 years before moving to Platte City two years ago.

She attended the Christian Church in Kidder.
Margreat married Carl G. Innis on Sept. 8, 1936, in Kingston. They were married for 43 years before he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded by her parents; a daughter, Alice Marie Innis; six brothers: Raymond, Donald, Arnold, Herbert, John Henry and Richard McCrary; and two sisters, Edna Mae Shipley and Verna Thornton.
Survivors include one son, Frank Innis, Platte City; one daughter, Carolyn Mayfield, Liberal; one brother, Gentry T. McCrary, St. Joseph; one sister, Elsie Hall, Gallatin; four grandchildren; two special grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
