The Lions All-Star Basketball Classic was held at the Ketcham Community Center on June 5 with four boys teams and four girls teams competing in a bracket-style tournament.

Both brackets saw the black team topple the gold team in the championship games and the white teams score consolation wins over the purple teams.
Nearly 100 high school graduates participated in the basketball classic, sponsored by Lions Clubs of District 26-M4 and hosted for the second straight year at NCMC. All proceeds from the event go toward scholarships to students under the auspices of Lions Clubs of the district.
Local players included Gallatin’s Colton Selby (White Team), Winston’s Bryan Lee (Gold Team), Gallatin’s Carly Boyd (Black Team), Ashley Beck (White Team), Jamie Brinnen (White Team) and Ashley Owens (Gold Team) and Winston’s Keshia Youtsey (White Team).
