Eli Teller, 23, Cameron, received moderate injuries after losing control of his three-wheeler at about 3:10 p.m. on Friday, May 14, in Caldwell County.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mr. Teller was traveling west on Zane Avenue, eight miles north of Hamilton, when he lost control of the Honda 125 three-wheeler. He fell off of the vehicle and into a creek. The three-wheeler traveled off the south side of the roadway into a creek, where it came to rest.
Mr. Teller, who was not wearing a safety device, was taken to Liberty Hospital by Lifeflight helicopter.
The Honda received minor damage.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
