Ninety-six high school basketball stars representing 50 Missouri high schools will converge on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, June 4-5, for the Lions District 26-M4 All-Star Basketball Classic.

The annual classic will be held on Saturday, June 4, with a total of eight games at the Ketcham Center. Team practices and team building activities will be conducted on Friday, with all athletes staying in dorms on the NCMC campus.

High school seniors from the selected schools will compete in team play with each team guaranteed two games this year, culminating with championship games on Saturday night.

All proceeds from the event provide scholarships to students under the auspices of the Lions Club of District 26-M4.

Area high school graduates selected to participate in this year’s games are: Colton Selby, Ashley Beck, Carly Boyd, Jamie Brinnen and Ashley Owens of Gallatin; Bryan Lee and Keisha Youtsey of Winston; Dylan Chadwick, Brandon Hemry and Carissa Conger of Hamilton; Clayton Brown and John Haley of Braymer; Shawn McMillen, Brett Walker and Morgan Luke of Stanberry; Megan Antle, Tricia Erickson, Ashley Mazurkewycz, Caitlyn McFee and Bailey Wingard of Maysville; Felicia Bertrand of Princeton; and Jessica Prewitt of South Harrison.
