They are Theodore (Ted) Rights of Hamilton and Clint Hylton of Polo as Democrats; and incumbent Sam Graves of Tarkio, and Christopher Ryan of Liberty as Republicans.

Clint Hylton has been a Shelter Insurance agent for the past five years in Excelsior Springs. Mr. Rights is a physician with a family practice in Polo and Jamesport. Congressman Sam Graves is a five-term incumbent. He was first elected in 2000. Prior to that, he served as state representative and state senator in the 1990s.
