We appreciate all who make our Hats Off to You Volunteer Reception a great success. Farmers Bank donated the hat contest prizes. Winners of the hat contest were Barbara Champlin, Irene Moser, and Bill Reed.
John Sullenger chose us as recipient of the $2,500 American’s Farmers Grow Communities Project for Daviess County. An award ceremony will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, at the center. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Menus May 10-14
Monday: porcupine meatballs, mashed potatoes, Italian blend veggies, wheat rolls, pineapple; Tuesday: roast beef, potatoes and gravy, cabbage, sliced bread, bread pudding; Wednesday; chicken livers, corn casserole, California blend, cream peach pie; Thursday: sliced turkey over dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, sherbet; Friday: ham and beans, coleslaw, cornbread, cold tomatoes, peanut butter cookie.
