In addition to Kaitlyn McNeely’s new Gallatin Junior High pole vault record of 7’6", the 1600-meter relay team of Kailey Salmon, Kailey Elbert, Kaitlyn Hefley and Sara Lin set a new school record of 4:36.29 at Tuesday’s Trenton Relays, breaking the old record of 4:37.29 set in 2005 by then junior high Courtney Ray, Casey Sweatman, Kaddie Mott and Tye Humphrey. Shelby Chadwick held the previous GJH pole vault record of 7′.
