Items on the agenda included approval of the Feb. 9 minutes and consent agenda items. Consent agenda items approved were new, revised, and/or requested budgets, a Putnam County Food Bank agreement, Grundy County Supportive Housing Board appointments, minutes and actions of the Executive Committee, signatory authorization for housing entities, and a Trenton Women’s Shelter fundraising contract.

February, 2010 financial reports were presented by Janelle Tjarks, Chief Financial Officer, and Tom Durkin from the Missouri Attorney General’s office presented board training on the Sunshine Law.

A "program spotlight" was presented by Jenny Dean-Batson, RNP, on the Women’s Health Services Program.

New grant requests approved included: Building Green Teens – $750,000; Second Chance Act Prisoner Re-entry Initiative – $300,000; Green Building Grant – $15,000; and Victims Services Advocate Grant – $94,169.

The next meeting of the GHCAA Area Governing Board will be held Tuesday, June 8.
