Daviess County Soil & Water Conservation district supervisor election and open house is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, at the USDA Service Center at 209 Ash Street, Gallatin.

The election poll will be open from noon until 6 p.m. The candidate names submitted by the nominating committee are Trevor Clark Area II and Don Tolen Area IV.
All land representatives (owners or representative authorized by power- of-attorney and taxpayer of the county) of any farms lying within Daviess County, are eligible to vote. Sandwiches, chips and drink will be served between noon and 1:30 p.m.
The annual Daviess County Soil District poster contest winners’ posters will be on display throughout the day.
