During the regular meeting held April 5, the clerk for the Altamont-Winston Sewer Board distributed a financial statement for year 2009 and reported that when all corrections were made the sewer board had $569.60 more in the 2009 ending fund balance than previously thought. The clerk also distributed a check report showing all deposits and checks written since the January meeting.

Melvin McFee gave the lagoon report. He was able to rewire the aerator and get it working so he did not have to buy one. He discharged the lagoon in March and will probably do so again in May. A letter was received from DNR about a missing entry on a report, and he has responded with the correction.
Julie Burnett moved to assign the duties of secretary/treasurer to the clerk, with compensation based on about seven additional hours of work per month.
The next meeting was set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6.
