Funeral services for Jannette Polley will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 8, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Manor of Albany.

Jannette O. Polley, 70, Albany, died April 4, 2010, at an Albany hospital.
Jannette, the daughter of Olin and Leona (Snyder) Youngs, was born Sept. 28, 1939, in Loveland, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
On June 14, 1959, Jannette was united in marriage to Cecil Bryce Polley in Bridgeport. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2009 by renewing their wedding vows with a family celebration.

For many years, Jannette worked for Rival Manufacturing in Albany. With the closing of Rival, she then worked for the Eagleville Dinner Bell for several years. Jannette later retired from the Bethany Care Center dietary department and moved to Albany in 1998 from Ridgeway.

Jannette was a graduate of Bethany High School and a member of Kirkley Chapel Church of Ridgeway.

Survivors include her husband, Bryce; one son, Bryan Polley of Albany; two daughters, Debbie McLain, Albany, and Ann Russell, Cameron; one brother, Bill Youngs, Pattonsburg; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
