During the next few weeks, Farmers’ Electric Cooperative will be participating in a telephone survey that is conducted every three years to determine the quality of service provided to its members.

"The survey will ask a number of questions to measure your energy usage and your level of satisfaction with Farmers’," said Steve Shoot, FEC’s manager of Member Services.

Shoot said the survey will take 12 to 15 minutes to answer all of the questions.

"We know everyone is busy, but this is an important survey for us,"

Shoot said. "We also get new ideas from our members as to what kinds of services they would like their cooperative to offer."

Shoot cited the survey of FEC members three years ago as a reason the co-operative had added more services through its web site, such as online payment options.

"We do appreciate and thank our members for taking the time to take part in the survey," Shoot said. "The survey results will help us address future needs to provide you with reliable electricity and lobbying Congress to insure our members have the lowest possible costs."
