March 26 was the Easter egg hunt at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab. The elementary school, preschool through fourth grade, were brought out to the facility by bus for the event. That’s 258 children in all! We would like to express appreciation to the Daviess County Health Department for their help in hiding eggs. We filled 2,000 eggs. Each egg was filled with either money, Dairy Queen coupons, candy or small trinkets. The children were also given a gift certificate for a cheeseburger at McDonalds and a bouncy ball. Davies County Nursing and Rehab would also like to express appreciation to the area businesses for their help in making this event so wonderful, including BTC Bank of Gallatin, Dairy Queen of Chillicothe, Dairy Queen of Cameron, McDonalds of Chillicothe and McDonalds of Trenton.

Two children were awarded bikes for winning the coloring contest. Bronco Whitt was winner of the preschool through kindergarten group and Hannah Stith was winner of the first through second grade group.
