Kimberly Middaugh, 47, Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. There was no scheduled visitation. Burial was in the Cameron Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cameron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Daviess County Library, in care of the funeral home.

Kimberly was born Oct. 13, 1962 to William and Shirley (Hanks) Middaugh in Cameron, Mo. She graduated from Cameron High School in 1981. After graduation Kim was employed at the GTE Telephone Company in Cameron, where she dedicated over 20 years of faithful service. During that time she was transferred to Columbia , Fort Wayne, Ind., and back to Columbia. She began her career with the company as a telephone operator and later moved into the billing department and customer service. Due to health reasons Kim retired in 2003.
After retirement Kim moved to the Gallatin area be near her family. Kim was devoted to her family, taking care of the girls made her life complete. When her granddaughter Booklyn came along she became a doting grandmother. Kim shared a caring relationship with her girls. It was based on mutual support and a deep love for each other.
Kim was an avid reader and was a frequent visitor of the library. She loved to drink Pepsi and was a long time collector of Pepsi memorabilia. She enjoyed sharing her collection with her sister Kathy. She also liked to collect unicorns. Her kind and loving nature will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her father William Middaugh and her great nephew Drew Wilson.
Kim is survived by her mother, Shirley Middaugh of Hamilton; sister, Kathy and husband Dewight Smith of Gallatin; brother, Charles and Tammy Middaugh of Lathrop; daughters, Heather and Nicole Middaugh of the home; nephews, Darrell and wife Jamie Wilson, Daniel Wilson and fiancé Stephanie Lewis, all of Gallatin, Chris and wife Misty Middaugh of Kansas City, Mo.; and one grandchild, Brooklyn Middaugh-Curtis. Kim also has several great nieces and nephews.
