March 5 — Pat’s Play Day; March 17 — St. Patrick’s Day lunch; March 17 — Board of Directors meeting; March 23 — Nominations for area wide elections; March 30 — National Pencil Day; March 31 — 3 B day.

Product of the month for March is Dawn dish soap.

Introducing Pat’s Play Day on the first Friday of each month. Pat Baker will plan a day of fun to begin right after lunch at 12:30. Pat’s first Play Day will have the theme of Teddy Bears. Bring in a teddy bear – your favorite bear, a bear with a story, or borrow one from your grandchild.

Nominations for area wide elections will be March 23 at 11 a.m., here at the center. Nominations are needed for our Board of Directors, the AAA Board of Directors, the Advisory Council, and the Silver Haired Legislature.

National Pencil Day is March 30. Bring in a pencil to show off – maybe it is a special pencil, a collectors’ item, or from your school days. Prizes will be awarded.

We will have cinnamon rolls available for sale each Monday in March. They are $1.25 each and first come, first serve. You may call each Monday morning to reserve yours – 663-2828. They will be ready for pick up around 10 a.m. All proceeds will go toward our meal programs.

Menus March 8-12

Monday: ham and beans, coleslaw, juice, cornbread, pear cobbler; Tuesday: pork roast with potatoes and carrots, peas, oatmeal raisin cookies; Wednesday: kraut dog on bun, corn, mashed potatoes, peaches; Thursday: chicken and potatoes, broccoli salad, carrot/pineapple muffins, pudding; Friday: tuna and noodles, green beans, pickled beets, fruit cocktail.
