Last Saturday may not have been a good day to travel, but it was a great day of wrestling for Gallatin USA youth wrestlers.

The local team took 14 wrestlers to Bethany and came home with six first place medals: Gage Wright, Jagger Gray, Andon Allen, Eli Henke, Harrison Pettit and Colton Trimble.
Bringing home second place medals were Brinley Vandiver, Graydee Rains and Anthony Esposito. Third place winners were Gabe Allen, Cole Henderson and Trenton Ismael. Draven Wright and C.J. Richards were fourth place finishers.
The Gallatin team finished the day with 24 wins, 13 by pins.
This next week the team will travel to St. Joseph to compete in the rookie state tournament. District competition will begin the following week.
