There are times over the past couple of years when this old editor has trouble coming up with "what to write about this week." This is one of those weeks and the following column is not original with me but one I ran across on the Internet. I began writing a newspaper column ‘way back when I was a teenager and I am beginning to believe it is finally that time when I should signal an end to my Post Scripts column.
So… this week’s column gives me another week or so to decide to quit writing a column and give up on a chore I have loved to do for so many, many years, well over a half century. So this week I won’t say I’m quitting but will say I’m going to take some time to consider it since I have been writing a column for a newspaper someplace in America a long, long time.
