Dolores Lowery Gardner Cameron of Pattonsburg will celebrate her 90th birthday on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Dolores was born in Bethany and has live don a farm north of Pattonsburg most of her life. She graduated from Pattonsburg High School in 1938 and in 1939 she married Chloral Gardner. They celebrate 55 years of marriage until Chloral passed away in 1994. In 1997 Dolores married Joe Cameron and they enjoyed 10 years of marriage.
Dolores and Chloral raised two daughters, Susie and Judy. Dolores has always enjoyed her church, Heath Chapel, sewing and baking cookies for the grandchildren. Now she enjoys going to the senior center for lunch and visiting her sister at the Bethany Care Center.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Roseanna (John) Parmenter and sons, Rhyse, Josh and Brett; Chris (Stephanie) Fore and children, Krystyna and Tyler; Tim (LeeAnn) Cochran and sons, Ben and Clay; and Derek Cochran; and great-great-grandchildren, Daltyn, Drake and Kaylee Ann.
