A combination of winter factors cancelled school again on Tuesday and led to the postponement of Gallatin’s scheduled basketball games at Maysville. The varsity games have been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 22.

The Bulldogs will host South Harrison on Friday during Courtwarming festivities.
After starting their Grand River Conference season 3-0, Gallatin’s Lady Bulldogs have dropped two straight in the league to fall to 3-2.
With last Friday’s most recent loss to King City, the Lady Bulldogs find themselves in fifth place in the conference, trailing King City, Maysville and unbeaten South Harrison and Hamilton.
With just two weeks left in the regular season, Gallatin hopes to climb back over the .500 mark in the GRC after taking on South Harrison, Princeton and Stanberry, all at home, before finishing up with the Maysville game.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to King City, 37-30, last Friday night in league action. Gallatin players combined to hit only two of 10 free throws in the contest, compared to 11-of-20 for the Lady Wildkats.
Owens led GHS scorers with 13 points. Beck chipped in nine for Gallatin.
The Bulldog boys, also 3-2 in the conference, are also shooting for that above-.500 mark with four games remaining.
The Dogs fell to a powerful King City team Friday night, led by a strong one-two punch in the post from 6’8" center Wade Bryson and 6’3" forward Thomas Slayden. Bryson dumped in 29 points to lead the Kats.
Gallatin trailed early and the Bulldogs found themselves down at halftime, 47-27. Vince Wiley popped four treys and paced the Dogs with 14 points. Colton Selby chipped in 12.
