A Jameson woman received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened at about 7:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, three miles north of Gallatin.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Melissa Abernathy, 29, Jameson, was southbound on Hwy. 13 and lost control on the ice-covered roadway. Her 1999 Ford F 150 traveled off the east side of the roadway, overturned, struck a fence, and came to rest on the driver’s side. The vehicle was totaled.
Mrs. Abernathy was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center by Daviess County Ambulance. She was wearing her seat belt.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. Jonathon P. Lynch.
An Altamont woman received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened at about 6:55 p.m. Jan. 31 in Daviess County.
According to a report by the Highway Patrol, Tambra Pierce, 39, Altamont, was eastbound on Route T, about three miles east of McFall. She lost control and her 1993 Buick Lesabre traveled off the north side of Route T, struck the ditch, and came to rest upright in the ditch facing north.
Mrs. Pierce was taken by NTA Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was wearing her seat belt.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. B.E. Maudlin, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Pattonsburg First Responders and NTA Ambulance.
