The Quad County Cattleman’s Association, which includes Daviess, DeKalb, Caldwell and Clinton Counties, will hold its first annual membership meeting with a barbecue supper at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Cameron Community Building.

Speakers are Jeff Windett, executive vice-president for Missouri Cattleman’s Association. Jeff will give a presentation on Association membership, trends in the beef industry and legislative update on government issues affecting cattle producers; John Kleiboeker, executive director for Missouri Beef Industry council, will give a presentation on Beef Checkoff and retail beef news; Wes Bacon, territory manager with Boehringer Ingelheim will give a presentation on de-worming programs for the cow herd and challenges with pinkeye in the summer months.
