Don and Marilyn were married in Meservey, Iowa, on Dec. 27, 1969. Their children are Doug and Shelly of Parkersburg, Iowa; Matt and Andrea of St. Joseph; Mike and Megan of Olathe, Kan. They have six grandchildren: Cindy, Lindsey, Bret, Ella, Kate, and Vivian.
