Funeral services for B.H. Sexont were held on Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.

B.H. Sexton, 95, Albany, died on Dec. 2, 2009, at an Albany nursing home.
Mr. Sexton, the son of Benjamin Harrison and Mary Olive (Couch) Sexton, was born March 31, 1914, in Coffey.
On Jan. 27, 1934, he married Berniece Jeffries. Following her untimely death, he later married Minnie Wood on Sept. 16, 1973; she preceded him in death.

For 32 years, B.H. worked for the Chevrolet Dealership in Albany, retiring in 1979.

He was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Albany.
Mr. Sexton was also preceded in death by his parents; sons, Bob and Bill Sexton; brothers, Chester, Harvey, Louis, and Dick Sexton; sisters, Leiva Baker and Geraldine Womack.
Survivors include one son, J.W. Sexton; one daughter, Verdean Chapman; two step sons, Eugene Wood and Gary Wood; one sister, Doris Monk; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
