A Gallatin teenager received minor injuries in an accident that occurred at 4:40 p.m. on Nov. 29, in Daviess County.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dannette Teel, 17, was southbound on 280th Street, six miles east of Gallatin, when she met a grain hauler at the crest of the hill. She applied the brakes and lost control. Her 1994 Chevrolet went off the east side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Dannette was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital by Daviess County Ambulance. She was wearing her seat belt.

Her vehicle had minor damage.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. B.E. Maudlin, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Daviess County Ambulance and Gallatin Fire.
