The Pamida Foundation is proud to join the mission to fight hunger in our community by donating $1,000 to the local food pantry at Green Hills Community Action Agency located in Gallatin. Peggy Simmons, store leader at Gallatin, said the Foundation hopes the contribution will help meet the increased demand on the food pantry this holiday season. She added that the Pamida Foundation is able to support many community organizations that share its mission of helping the disadvantaged and disabled and educating and encouraging our youth. The food pantry donation is just one example of Pamida’s commitment to giving back to communities that support it daily. The Pamida Foundation also made a donation of $1,000 to GHCAA to assist with the purchase of items from the gift tree and to help make the holidays brighter for those in need in the community.
