The Jamesport Community Association will be holding the 2nd annual all antique auction on the third Saturday in January, 2010.

That will be Jan. 16, 2010, at the newly constructed addition to the A.V. Spillman Event Center, located 1½ blocks south of the 4-way stop in downtown Jamesport. Junior Mullenix of Trenton, will be the auctioneer again this year. This auction was very successful last year with lots of good quality antiques and great attendance.
Over the past year, the Jamesport community added on to the old event center to more than double the size of the building. This was made possible by donations from local businesses, individuals, the Home Exchange Bank and lots and lots of volunteer labor from tireless community members. This large addition to the existing building is still under construction but was used for the first time for the annual quilt auction in October.
If you have good quality antiques that you would like to consign, or for more information, call 660-684-6319. The auction bill will be printed on Dec. 15, 2009. Mark your calendar now for the antique auction at 10 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2010. The auction will last approximately six hours.
