Jeremiah J. Morgan, Kansas City, has been named the president of the Liberty Missouri Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which includes congregations in Daviess, Clay, Ray, Clinton, Grundy, Livingston, Caldwell, and DeKalb counties. President Morgan will be assisted by two counselors: Sean Foley, Excelsior Springs, and Rodney A. Ames, Liberty.

Formerly, the Stake was led by President Detlef G. Lehnardt, Liberty, with counselors Philip Barzee, Kansas City, and Eric B. Freestone, Jameson. These men served faithfully for nearly 10 years as the presidency of the Liberty Missouri Stake.

President Morgan is employed by the Missouri Attorney General as the Deputy Solicitor General. President Morgan and his wife, Rebecca, have five children.

Sean Foley is a Telecommunications Architect for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. President Foley served a two-year mission in the France Paris Mission. President Foley and his wife Vivian have five children.
