The John Dennis Scholarship for criminal justice majors, in the amount of $1,000, will be awarded by the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association to 16 college bound Missouri high school seniors. It is available to students who intend to pursue a criminal justice career and will be attending a Missouri college or university, according to Daviess County Sheriff Ben Becerra.
